Please check out the photo tips below.

I can help you choose the best photo reference.

I use professional quality lightfast pencils or pastels and acid-free heavyweight paper.

There is a choice of color pencil, pastel pencil/Panpastel or graphite/charcoal.

I will send you photo updates of your portrait. And per your confirmation will upload some ‘in progress’ photos on my IG page and upload them to my website.

I will give you an approximate time scale of when I will complete your portrait. If you have a specific time frame of when you would like to receive your completed painting or drawing please let me know so I can look at my schedule and waiting list. However, most of the time I prefer to create when I am feeling called to. So I will sit to create when the energy of the piece invites me. I have come to realize that in this way I am more present and more connected to the sacredness and medicine each creation shares with me. I choose to honor the process in this way.

Please message me if you have any questions or if I can be of guidance in any way.

Shipping prices will vary depending on the size of the artwork and where you are located. We will have the opportunity to discuss the shipping options available and prices before I start creating your artwork.

I am not currently offering a framed option unless you are in Sweden and able to collect from Stockholm. I will, however, lovingly mount your artwork on foam board and carefully package your portrait to be ready to be framed once you receive it. I will include some helpful information with your artwork to pass on to your framer too.

Photography Tips:

The better the quality of the photo the more detail I can add. I know it is not always possible to get a professional photo and that’s ok. Send me the photos you have and I will choose the one that I can create your commissioned piece from.

Before accepting a commission I would need to see photos you have available to be sure I can create it for you. If the pictures are too blurry etc it will mean that I will not be able to add detail. It wouldn’t be a realistic style piece. I’d like to think that I can still create a different version for you but I can’t guarantee what style it will be created in. So if that is the case and you are open to that we can discuss this further.

Key points:

  • The less blurry the better

  • Taking in as much natural light as possible but not in direct sunlight, an overcast day is good or a room with lots of light. By a window can be helpful. Not having the light coming straight on or coming from behind is best.

  • Avoid using the flash or adding any filters to the photo.

  • When taking photos being at eye level with them is a great angel to be at. Get as close as you can, so they fill as much of the frame as possible.

  • Camera: some phone camera’s take great pictures, so don’t worry too much if you don’t have a digital camera.

  • When emailing the photos please keep them at their original size. It is better if the photo has not been downloaded from a social media site, as they compress the image. If you can send me the original photo as it was taken on a phone or digital camera that would be best. There are occasions where I may be able to create your portrait from a physical photograph.

Any questions you have I am more than happy to help.
